TURKEY WADDLE DEFORMITY:

Why does this form? The turkey waddle forms because it is a combination of factors in the aging process. As the skull absorbs, the investing layers of skin and muscle sag. The attachments to the skeleton that shrinks cause them to hang. In addition, as muscle is turned to fat and deposits of fat are laid down in the neck, one loses the natural jaw line of youth and beauty and the face literally flows into the neck. To correct this problem requires a facelift. Many people have the misconception that a facelift corrects the cheek/lip fold area (next to the corners of the mouth running up to the nose), but this is not true. The facelift merely lifts the cheeks and the jowl area occupying the lower one third of the face and addresses the upper two thirds of the neck. By doing a facelift and sculpting the neck by removing fat and tightening the platysma muscle, one is able to build a foundation upon which to build an redrape the skin. This in effect creates a long lasting facelift that stands the test of time. Anything short of this including the S-lift, the mini-lift, the band-aid-lift are shams that cost a maximum amount of money and last a mini amount of time. Dr. Dedo believes that his integrity is the only thing he has. As a result, he addresses your problems honestly and will not do a procedure unless he is convinced that it will produce the desired affect for the period of time expected.
